On Wednesday June 19, 2024, a scene that could have been taken from a Hollywood film took place at the Yanguma crossroads, 3 km from the city of Faradje, capital of the Faradje territory in the Haut-Uele province. A fight broke out between motorcyclists coming from Ariwara, Aru territory, located in the neighboring province of Ituri, and the police, following a dispute over the control of motorcycle documents, including driving license, required by transport and communications agents (TRANSVCOM) and those of the road traffic police (PCR).
