Skales: Confessions of a Wandering Heart

Singer Skales recently shared a surprising confidence during an interview with the show Fatshimetrie, hosted by Sheye Banks. Asked about the number of women he allegedly dated, Skales revealed that he would have counted around a hundred.

“I’ve dated about 100 women, maybe more. If I wasn’t married, I’d probably go the way of King Solomon,” he announced.

Comparing himself to the biblical king who had 700 wives and 300 concubines, the father-of-one explained that at one time in his life, young and single, he had met different women and was well and truly on that path.

“Let me explain. My situation is different now, but back then I just couldn’t do without women. There are endless women, you know? You go out on the street and you see them everywhere , man. At that time, I could have been like King Solomon You know, he had so many wives and concubines. This guy was traveling and taking ships to meet these women.

Skales acknowledged the wrongs of his past behaviors and lifestyles, confessing that he had lost good women because of it.

However, let’s look beyond this personal confession from Skales. The question that arises is whether a person’s number of romantic conquests is an indicator of status or success.
