**Transfer of equipment by the Chinese contingent of MONUSCO in the DRC**
In the heart of Africa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a generous and symbolic gesture marks the end of the mission of the Chinese peacekeepers of MONUSCO. A batch of equipment worth more than seven million US dollars was handed over to the Congolese government, a sign of a strong partnership between China and the DRC for the development and stabilization of the country.
This donation, consisting of nearly fifty thousand engineering tools and machines, is of capital importance for the reconstruction and development of the Congolese territory. The hospital managed by the Chinese contingent in Bukavu also made its contribution by offering more than forty thousand medical equipment, including an ambulance, vehicles and various medical equipment and instruments.
