Recounting the ordeal, Orji disclosed the critical condition that led him to undergo two brain surgeries in Nigeria after collapsing in his bathroom. “Thankfully, I survived what could have been a fatal incident. I was unconscious for almost five and a half hours before assistance arrived,” he solemnly revealed.
The actor narrated how his friend Ahmed discovered him on the floor, prompting immediate hospitalization after two frightening collapses. “My friend found me in a state of confusion and incapacity. He then called for urgent assistance, leading to swift action that saved my life,” Orji detailed.
Orji expressed his initial inability to recognize well-wishers, including the Minister of Women’s Affairs and the First Lady during their hospital visit, attributing the confusion to his deteriorated state before surgery. “It was a disorienting time, but I am grateful for the support that guided me through,” he reflected.
Following the first surgical procedure on January 1st, remnants of blood clots necessitated a second surgery to eliminate the risks entirely. Orji acknowledged the skillful medical intervention that ultimately removed all clots, ensuring his recovery.
