Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River recently chaired a significant South-South APC Governors Meeting to address crucial political matters affecting the region. The meeting, attended by state party chairmen from the zone, focused on strategizing for the success of the party in the upcoming Edo government elections.
Victor Giadom, the Zonal Vice Chairman of the Party, expressed satisfaction with the fruitful discussions held during the meeting. He emphasized the need for party unity in the South-South states and issued a stern warning to other political parties in Edo, affirming that the APC is prepared to take over the state government.
Giadom commended Governor Otu for his remarkable achievements in Cross River, particularly in areas such as environmental efforts, infrastructure renewal, and human capital development. Governor Otu expressed his readiness to lead the party in the region and emphasized the importance of strengthening the APC’s presence in the South-South states.
