The recent court appearance of Dzidotor has thrust him into the harsh spotlight of justice, where he had to acknowledge guilt for serious charges brought against him. In a sudden twist of fate, Dzidotor’s life is now entangled in the unforgiving web of laws and regulations.

The first charge leveled against him is for negligent and inappropriate conduct, as per Section 3 of Act 683 of the RTA (2004), amended by Act 761 of 2008. He was slapped with a sentence of 100 penalty units, potentially amounting to 20 months behind bars if left unpaid.

The second charge, concerning unauthorized stopping, contravenes section 19 of Act 683 of 2004, amended by Act 761 of 2008. Dzidotor pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 20 penalty units, equivalent to five months in prison if not settled.

The third offense, involving unlawful damage caused, violates section 172b of Act 2960. Dzidotor accepted responsibility and was handed a sentence of six months of hard labor.

However, when faced with the fourth charge of failure to produce a driver’s license, contrary to Regulation 47(2) of LI 21(80), Dzidotor pleaded not guilty. He maintained that his license was inside the damaged vehicle and was instructed to present it in court by May 9, 2024, under the threat of potential consequences.

As Dzidotor stood in court, a mix of regret and dismay filled the room. Once free and unrestrained, he is now shackled by the weight of justice, caught in a downward spiral of consequences. His future, once promising, is now clouded by the repercussions of his choices, paving the way for a turbulent and uncertain tomorrow.
