Following a press conference at the APC headquarters in Kano, party officials firmly refuted allegations of suspension against the APC National Chairman. Zone Chairman, Malam Ahmad Ganduje, dismissed these claims as originating from individuals not affiliated with the party. He emphasized the unwavering support of his group for the National Chairman and their confidence in his leadership.
The Zone President echoed unanimous backing for Ganduje within the party and urged all members to remain peaceful and lawful. Additionally, the APC Regional Chairman, Alhaji Inusa Dawanau, announced intentions to take legal action against those falsely claiming membership and announcing Ganduje’s suspension.
These statements were provoked by an individual, Malam Haladu Gwanjo, posing as the legal advisor of the APC in Ganduje Ward, who falsely proclaimed the National Chairman’s suspension.
While disputes may emerge within political parties, it is imperative to resolve them sensibly and in line with party regulations. The unified stance of local APC leaders in defending the party’s unity and credibility is commendable.
