Shocking article: Suspects arrested for selling drugged chin-chin in Yenagoa

In a statement issued by the NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, it was announced that suspects were arrested in Yenagoa for selling drug-laced chin-chin to students and at parties.

A motorcycle delivery man was arrested in the Opolo region of Yenagoa on March 10 as he prepared to deliver 200 grams of chin-chin containing cannabis sativa.

A quick operation led to the arrest of the hairdresser who was distributing the drugged chin-chin from the salon where she works in the Kpansia area of Yenagoa.

Searches carried out in the living room led to the discovery of an additional 3 kilograms of illicit substance, bringing the total to 3.2 kg.

Investigations revealed that these individuals regularly distributed chin-chin laced with cannabis and tramadol to students and at birthday parties.

These arrests underline the vigilance of the authorities in the face of criminal activities aimed at spreading illicit substances in society, particularly impacting young people and social parties.

This case highlights the importance of raising awareness of the dangers of consuming adulterated products and the need to strengthen prevention measures to protect the population from the harm of drugs.
