In the celebrity world, opinions can sometimes differ, even between artists who have collaborated in the past. Recently, Eedris Abdulkareem attracted strong reactions from some of his former colleagues in the music industry, after he made controversial statements during an interview.
One such artist is Tony Tetuila, who publicly called Abdulkareem a “relentless liar” following a statement by the latter claiming that Tetuila joined their music group at the time out of desperation to sing. Tetuila reacted strongly on Instagram by denying these allegations and expressing his disappointment towards his former accomplice.
Another personality to have distanced himself from Abdulkareem is comedian Seyi Law. The latter categorically denied Abdulkareem’s comments mentioning that he would have regretted his support for a local politician. On social networks, Seyi Law insisted on the false nature of these statements and expressed his astonishment at such insinuations.
Finally, Eddie Montana, member of the group The Remedies alongside Abdulkareem, also questioned the assertions of his former colleague. In a discussion with Daddy Freeze, Montana contradicted Abdulkareem on the authorship of a hit song by the group, pointing out that the song in question belonged to him and that Abdulkareem had simply participated in it.
These divisions within the music industry highlight the tensions and differences that can arise between once united artists. They also emphasize the importance of transparency and truthfulness of comments made in public to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding.
