In a case of alleged murder and conspiracy, the accused, whose addresses were unknown, are currently on trial for the alleged murder of Comfort James on February 4 in Ado-Ekiti.

The charges against the accused contravene the provisions of Sections 244 and 234 of the Ekiti State Penal Code, 2021.

The prosecutor asked the court to detain the defendants in a correctional center pending legal advice from the attorney general’s office.

The defendants’ plea was not taken into account.

The Chief Justice, Mrs. Kehinde Awosika, ordered the detention of the accused in a correctional center pending the decision of the Attorney General’s office.
