Members of the provincial government are also reminded to choose between the provincial assembly and the government within eight days, in accordance with the electoral law in force. Despite the validation of these 31 mandates, eight seats remain vacant pending the national and provincial elections in the Masimanimba territory.
These elections were canceled in this territory due to disruptions that occurred during the combined polls last December.
