ARSP and Glencore commit to strict application of the law on subcontracting in the DRC

Title: Meeting between ARSP and Glencore in the DRC to ensure better application of the law on subcontracting

Introduction :

In a context where nearly 8.5 billion US dollars escape the Congolese financial circuit each year due to subcontracting practices in violation of the law, the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP ) started a discussion with the company Glencore in the DRC. This meeting aims to guarantee rigorous application of legal texts in the field of subcontracting. The objective is to promote Congolese entrepreneurship, particularly that of young people, and to ensure that subcontractors eligible for markets can access them in an equitable manner.
