In the news: The CSR-ESG Commitment Trophies reward companies committed to sustainable development
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) are increasingly important concepts in the business world. Companies that integrate these principles into their development strategy are recognized for their commitment to economic, environmental and social sustainability.
It is in this context that the collective of independent RSE/ESG expert consultants is organizing, in partnership with the media Congoprofond.net, DeskEco.cd, Sakolainfo.net and EventRDC.com, the first edition of the RSE-ESG Commitment Trophies. This event aims to highlight the actions and initiatives of companies and organizations of different sizes and sectors that contribute positively to sustainable development.
The CSR-ESG Commitment Trophies are aimed at all companies and organizations, whether large, medium or small, and from various sectors such as the mining industry, the manufacturing and agri-food sectors, banks and insurance, telecommunications companies, international and national organizations, as well as associations, and many others.
Applications are open from January 13 to February 15, 2024. Interested companies are invited to submit their files, including their 2023 CSR/ESG report or detailed documentation on their actions carried out in 2023, by e-mail to the address: trophiesengagementrseesg @gmail.com.
A jury composed of CSR/ESG experts, referents, business leaders, university professors, representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, as well as the media, will be responsible for selecting the winners in different categories. categories such as social inclusion, support for education, environment, human capital/HR development, occupational health and safety, and local development.
It is important to note that the organizing committee of the CSR-ESG Engagement Trophies is open to any partnership, sponsorship or support to guarantee the success of this first edition of this major CSR-ESG event in DR Congo.
