Christmas rice distribution in South East states by President Bola Tinubu

The governor recalled the economic reforms introduced by President Tinubu in 2023, aimed at recovering the economy, reducing hardship, strengthening the Naira, and creating employment opportunities. He acknowledged that these policies initially caused some hardship, such as the high cost of goods in the market, but emphasized that they were necessary to address these issues.
Governor Uzodimma highlighted the significance of providing relief and support to citizens, particularly during the festive season. The governor explained that the truckloads of rice were personal donations from President Tinubu to the South East as a gesture of goodwill.
To ensure seamless distribution, Governor Uzodimma involved the Imo State chapter of CAN. He assured them of the state government’s support in providing logistical assistance to deliver the rice to the other South East states. Reverend Eches Eches, the CAN Chairman in Imo State, commended President Tinubu for his commitment to the welfare of the people and described Governor Uzodimma as a caring leader who supports the interests of the Igbo people.
