Christmas at the Support Center for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Mbandaka: a warm celebration thanks to the Annie Bomboko Foundation
Christmas is a time of joy, sharing and solidarity. Unfortunately, for many orphaned and vulnerable children, these festivities can be a difficult time, marked by loneliness and isolation. However, thanks to the Annie Bomboko Foundation (F.A.B), residents of the Support Center for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (C.E.O.E.V) in Mbandaka were able to spend Christmas in a warm and comforting atmosphere.
The founder of the F.A.B, Annie Bomboko, spoke to CONGOPROFOND.NET, explaining that the celebration of Christmas within the center was a way of consoling these children and ensuring that they do not feel excluded during this holiday season. The foundation, whose objectives are centered on the supervision and promotion of orphaned children, brought together residents of the center to celebrate the 2023rd anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ according to the Roman calendar of the Catholic Church.
This initiative from the Annie Bomboko Foundation allowed the children to experience a special day, filled with joy and surprises. Festive and fun activities were organized, helping to create a festive and comforting atmosphere for the residents of the center.
But the F.A.B does not intend to stop there. Annie Bomboko announced that other activities would be planned in the coming months, including the provision of school materials and other goods for the supervision of children. The F.A.B foundation, created in 2001, is currently present in two provinces of the DRC (Equateur and Kinshasa) and plans to extend its action to the entire country.
