Tony Cassius Bolamba welcomes compliance with the constitutional deadline by the CENI

However, he points out that many voters were able to vote thanks to the extension of the opening hours of polling stations on December 21.
Candidate number 7 also expressed his concern regarding the violent incidents that occurred in Mbandaka, which led to the temporary closure of certain voting centers. However, he welcomes their reopening on the same day and encourages the continuation of the electoral process in calm and respect for the established rules.
Tony Cassius Bolamba recalls that only the CENI is authorized to officially publish the results of the elections. He therefore calls for waiting for the official proclamation of the results by the CENI and final validation by the Constitutional Court. He also invites the international community and the various observation missions to respect the choice of the Congolese people.
