The Principal of the institution, Dr. Oluwatosin Adebayo, affirmed that the college is indeed registered, recognized and approved by the Federal Government, particularly through the Federal Ministry of Education. This clarification comes in response to publications posted on social networks questioning the legitimacy of the establishment.
Accreditation and official recognition:
Adebayo pointed out that Harvarde College is also accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for all of its programs. He said admissions are done through the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the college offers Undergraduate Diplomas (ND) as well as Postgraduate Diplomas (HND). He insisted that the institution was established with the aim of providing higher education focused on entrepreneurial development and professional skills.

The college principal has strongly refuted claims that Harvarde College is not legitimate. He stressed that it was impossible to operate illegally in a civilized town like Abeokuta and called on those who doubt the legitimacy of the establishment to go directly to the Federal Ministry of Education for verification. Adebayo also mentioned that NBTE delegations regularly visit the site for accreditations.
