Sports news: The courageous Leopards of the DRC are ready for the qualifiers of the African Women’s Football Cup of Nations
This Friday, December 1, will mark the start of the qualifiers for the African Women’s Football Cup of Nations for the senior-lady Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo. They will face the Nzalang National of Equatorial Guinea in a first leg match which will take place in Malabo.
These meetings are crucial for the Congolese, who aim to qualify for the final phase of this competition which will be held in Morocco in 2024. To achieve this, they will have to win these two matches against the Equatorial Guinean team.
Coach Papy Kimoto is determined to approach this first leg with seriousness and determination. He underlines the importance of this knockout match and expresses his desire to win the match in order to maintain all the chances of qualifying for the return match which will take place in Kinshasa.
