Martin Fayulu promises to strengthen national defense and equip the army once in power
In a meeting held in Bunia, capital of Ituri province, Martin Fayulu, candidate number 21, expressed his concern about the weakness of the defense system of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He stressed the need to strengthen national defense and promised to set up a special military camp in Beni, North Kivu province.
During his speech, Fayulu insisted on the importance of equipping the Congolese army with modern equipment to fight against the insecurity that reigns in the country. He also deplored the living conditions of the military and pledged to guarantee dignified living conditions for them.
Candidate number 21 also pointed out the interference of certain neighboring countries such as Rwanda and Uganda in the internal affairs of Congo. He accused these countries of taking advantage of the weakness of the Congolese defense system to carry out harmful actions. Fayulu promised to restore order and bring lasting peace to the Congolese.
The Beni region, in North Kivu, is particularly affected by insecurity, with perpetual attacks by armed groups and displaced people living in precarious conditions. Martin Fayulu promised to put an end to this situation by strengthening the military presence in the region and providing local populations with adequate protection.
This position taken by Martin Fayulu highlights the importance of strengthening national defense and guaranteeing the security of Congolese citizens. If these promises come true, it could help improve the security situation in the country and establish a climate of confidence and stability. The question of the equipment and living conditions of the military is also crucial to ensure their effectiveness in the fight against internal and external threats.
