BGFIBank’s RakkaCash application has been a great success since its launch less than a week ago. Many partners such as Regideso, TransAcademia, Makuta and Flash have already joined forces with this platform to facilitate access to financial services for the Congolese population.
RakkaCash is a merchant application that promotes payments without physical contact. Its objective is to simplify the lives of the Congolese by offering them a practical and accessible solution. Thanks to the integration of two platforms, Makuta and Maxi Cash, more than 400 merchants can now benefit from RakkaCash services.
BGFIBank Managing Director Francesco De Musso says: “RakkaCash is a popular tool, free and accessible to everyone. In the coming months, new features such as credits and microcredits will be added. Proposals have been made to integrate specific microcredits, such as health or school fees. We will continue to improve the application with new features.”
Muriel Muhigirwa, head of the Electronic Banking and Digital Banking Department at BGFIBank, emphasizes that RakkaCash is a fully digital application that allows any user, whether they have a bank account or not, to access online banking services such as as the opening of savings accounts or current accounts bearing exceptional interest rates.
The RakkaCash application aims to facilitate financial inclusion in the DRC by offering banking services accessible to everyone, regardless of their geographic location. As a neo-bank, RakkaCash stands out by breaking with the traditional constraints of banking agencies and offering a diverse range of financial services directly accessible via a mobile phone.
This BGFIBank initiative is part of a global trend that seeks to expand access to banking services to all citizens, thereby contributing to the country’s economic development. RakkaCash positions itself as a major player in this digital transformation, offering an innovative and practical solution to meet the financial needs of the Congolese.
In conclusion, RakkaCash promises to make the lives of Congolese people easier by offering them simplified access to financial services. Thanks to strong partnerships with local players such as Makuta and Maxi Cash, the application is growing rapidly and plans to introduce new features such as credits and microcredits. This initiative contributes to financial inclusion in the DRC and allows citizens to benefit from the advantages of a practical and accessible neo-bank.
