The strategic multisectoral plan to eliminate cholera in the Democratic Republic of Congo will benefit from funding of $192 million over the next four years (2023-2027). This decision was taken during the meeting of the Steering Committee of the National Coordination of Action for Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (CNAEHA). The goal of this plan is to definitively eradicate cholera in the DRC, a country which this year recorded more than 31,000 confirmed or suspected cases and 230 deaths due to this disease.
