The economy of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) recorded encouraging results in October 2023. According to the latest figures published by the country’s financial authorities, revenue collected reached 553.8 billion Congolese Francs (CDF) over the first thirteen days of the month. This figure represents an achievement rate of 41% compared to forecasts.

The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) stands out as the main contributor to revenue, with an amount of 258.2 billion Congolese Francs (CDF). The General Directorate of Customs and Excise (DGDA) and the General Directorate of Administrative Revenue (DGRAD) also contributed significantly, with 170.4 billion Congolese Francs (CDF) and 125.2 billion Congolese Francs (CDF) respectively. collected.
