The objective of this book fair is to sow literary seeds in the daily lives of the inhabitants of the province and to promote the pleasure of culture. According to the president of Salik, it is essential to organize cultural activities in the province, because there is not enough movement in this area.
The theme of this second edition of the Kongo Central Book Fair is “Literature, vector of peace and national cohesion”. Through this evocative theme, the organizers wish to create a place for sharing, exchanges, networking and discussions on the socio-political life of the country.
On the program for this event, several activities will be offered, including conferences, workshops, training and various activities on socio-political themes. The objective is to invite young people to reappropriate the Congolese literary heritage and transform it into a lever for resourcing and creativity.
