“255 private placement services authorized in the DRC: a step towards regularization and confidence in the employment sector”

The General Directorate of the National Employment Office (ONEM) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has just authorized at least 255 private services to carry out placement activity. This decision was announced in an official press release, a copy of which was sent to Radio Okapi.

In this document, the director general of ONEM, Fanon Beya, also asked the organizations concerned, which have operated without interruption for two years, to report within 30 days to the ONEM legal and litigation service office in order to to regularize their situation.

It is important to emphasize that private placement services which do not comply with this request within the allotted time frame will only have themselves to blame, as Fanon Beya clarified.

Furthermore, the general manager informed that the opening fees for private placement services are now payable to Equity-BCDC bank, to account number USD 0100001245840-15.

This decision by ONEM allows these private placement services to continue their activity legally. It thus contributes to boosting the employment sector in the DRC and promoting recruitment and placement opportunities for job seekers.

It is important to note that the publication of the list of services authorized to make placements also helps to strengthen transparency and trust in this area. Citizens can thus ensure that the private placement services they request comply with the rules and standards in force.

In conclusion, the authorization given by ONEM to these 255 private placement services in the DRC is a beneficial measure both for companies in the sector and for job seekers. It promotes the regularization of these services and strengthens citizen confidence.
