The national gold days in the DRC “Wolo”: a major event for the Congolese gold sector

In just seven months of work, Primera Gold managed to mobilize more than 3 tonnes of gold, marking a significant increase compared to the 30 kilos exported annually a few years ago.

The results speak for themselves: revenues from the DRC’s gold mining sector reached a record figure of $1.2 million at the end of August 2023, compared to only $50,000 for the entire 2022 financial year. These figures demonstrate the The enormous potential of Congolese gold, and the national “Wolo” gold days will offer a unique opportunity to highlight this wealth and further promote national actors.
