“Drinking water fountains are revolutionizing daily life in Isiro, in the DRC: the initiative of the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation is a game-changer”

Drinking water fountains to improve daily life in Isiro, DRC

The town of Isiro, capital of the Haut-Uélé province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is currently experiencing significant progress in its drinking water supply. Thanks to the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation, several drinking water fountains have recently been installed, thus offering a solution to the water supply problems in the region.

The initiative of the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation aims to fill the drinking water deficit from which the town of Isiro suffers. Indeed, the management of drinking water by Regideso, the public company in charge of water supply, is often irregular due to the age of the infrastructure. This lack of access to drinking water exposes residents to health risks.

To remedy this situation and fight against water-borne diseases, the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation has made a commitment to finance the drilling of five fountains, representing an investment of $45,000. The drilling work for the first fountain, located in the Madulunga cell of the commune of Mammbaya, has already been completed. The Sainte-Anne cell in the Kupa commune is currently being drilled, while other sites such as Aketi Street, in Mendambo, the Kolu cell and the Kinkole district will soon be equipped with drinking water fountains.

This action by the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation follows a request from the residents of Isiro, who are faced with a permanent shortage of drinking water. Many of them are forced to travel long distances to access this essential resource for daily life.

Nanou Sadiki Lola, a philanthropist from Isiro, remains determined to help his fellow citizens by providing concrete solutions to their problems. Its commitment to its community is materialized through several humanitarian actions which aim to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of Isiro.

Thanks to this initiative, the town of Isiro is gradually seeing its situation improve in terms of access to drinking water. The installed water fountains allow residents to benefit from an essential resource for their health and well-being. This is an important step towards the development and improvement of living conditions in this region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In summary, the “Nanou Sadiki Lola” Foundation is committed to providing drinking water fountains to the town of Isiro, in response to the urgent needs of the population in terms of access to water. This initiative contributes to improving the living conditions of residents and the fight against water-borne diseases. Thanks to the commitment of philanthropist Nanou Sadiki Lola, the town of Isiro finally sees a glimmer of hope regarding its drinking water supply.
