The new faces of the Maniema executive
The interim governor of Maniema, Afani Idrissa Mangala, has just filled the voids in the executive by appointing two ministers within his government. The provincial decree of September 9 formalizes these appointments and brings new perspectives for the province.
Joseph Assumani Songe, former journalist for Maniema 1 radio, was appointed Minister of Finance. With his experience in communications, he will certainly bring an innovative vision to the management of the province’s financial resources.
As for Me César Useni Ndajli, he takes charge of the Economy and Humanitarian Actions portfolio. His legal expertise and his knowledge of economic issues will be assets in developing policies favorable to economic growth and the improvement of the living conditions of the inhabitants of Maniema.
In the same decree, Wickot Wakandwa John, journalist for RTNC/Kindu, was appointed communications director and spokesperson for the interim governor. This decision reflects the desire for transparency and clear communication of the provincial executive, which wishes to inform and actively involve the population in the actions undertaken.
At the same time, the head of the provincial executive also appointed Mr. Omba Mashaka Serge as head of the General Directorate of Maniema Revenue (DGRMA). This appointment underlines the importance given to the rigorous management of the province’s financial resources and the fight against tax fraud.
