The African continent, often considered the next global economic power, is now embarking on a new ambition: to become a leader in the field of renewable energies. This is materialized by the historic climate summit held in Kenya on Monday 4 September.
This summit, the first of its kind in Africa, brought together African decision-makers and leaders from around the world to discuss issues related to climate change and energy transition on the continent. The main objective of this meeting was to find solutions to the effects of global warming and to promote the development of renewable energies in Africa.
