The rehabilitation of the International Fair of Kinshasa (FIKIN) is in progress. FIKIN, already in the hands of the workers, is ready to rise from its ashes. Dozens of containers have been stacked there and contain the building materials needed for the renovations. Dump trucks come and go, bringing earth to fill and raise the ground for the actual start of construction.
Agents from the Milvest company, which is carrying out this work, have already started pouring the concrete to support the infrastructure to be built on the site. This rehabilitation provides for the construction of various lots such as an exhibition center, an amusement park, a conference center, a hotel and a shopping center.
The restoration of FIKIN will bring several significant changes to the city of Kinshasa. It will give new impetus to the business sector and will also participate in the development of tourism in the city.
