“The political youth of the UNC mobilized for the legislative elections in the DRC”

The political youth of the Union for the Congolese Nation (UNC) is actively preparing for the elections next December in the Democratic Republic of Congo. UNC Secretary General Billy Kambale said when publishing the second issue of the UNC National Youth Federation magazine that the ultimate goal was to reach 150 national MPs.

To achieve this, the UNC wishes to support the candidacies of young people and group them around the candidates aligned by the party. Young people from the UNC will mobilize to convince other young people to vote for the party in the elections. The publication of the magazine is a way for the youth of UNC to show their determination to achieve this goal.

The President of the National Federation of Youth of the UNC, Yves Nswal, underlined that the young people had gone to all regions of the country to revitalize, prepare and motivate the young people to achieve these objectives. The initiative thus joins that of all the Congolese political parties which are investing in credible and transparent legislative elections in order to restore the population’s confidence in the political class.

In addition, the youth of the UNC is encouraged to support all the initiatives of the Sacred Union of the Nation and to continue to fight to promote the party.

This mobilization of Congolese political youth is an important element of the upcoming elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It also shows the desire of young people to become more involved in the political life of the country. The election is approaching, and it will be interesting to see how the youth of the UNC and other Congolese political parties will tip the scales
