The National Youth Federation of the Union for the Congolese Nation (FNJ-UNC) presented the second edition of its annual magazine, exposing the activities carried out by the young members of the political party of Vital Kamerhe.
During this event, Billy Kambale, Secretary General of the UNC, presented the ambitious objective of his party: to obtain 150 deputies during the national legislative elections which will be held next December. He underlined the need to choose precisely the candidates who would be put forward in the elections, and insisted that the team was working hard to achieve this goal.
UNC youth president Yves Nswal said the distribution of the magazine was a way for FNJ-UNC to showcase youth activities during the year within the party executive.
Among the activities presented, we find in particular actions to raise awareness and mobilize young party members for the upcoming elections. Yves Nswal also announced the forthcoming organization of a tour of UNC youth outside the country, with the aim of soaking up their bases outside the DRC, who will also vote.
This annual magazine is a sign of the active and committed participation of young members of the UNC in Congolese political life, and proof of their desire to contribute actively to the future of their country. Moreover, this initiative proves the mobilization capacity of this political party in order to achieve its ambitious objectives.
This event is to be followed closely to understand the political choices of young Congolese voters, and to be informed of the issues of the legislative elections of December 2023.
