“Actualité.cd launches the newsletter ‘Sango ya bomoko’ to promote social cohesion in the DRC”

Kinshasa News Lab, in partnership with Actualité.cd, Lokuta Mabe, Balobaki Check, Congo Check, 7sur7.cd and ZoomEco, launched a new bulletin titled ‘Sango ya bomoko’. This newsletter, which aims to fight misinformation and hate speech, aims to promote social cohesion in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In its seventh issue, the newsletter grouped the feedback collected into five major themes: religion, ethnic conflicts in the province of Tshopo, payment of civil servants, elections and Francophonie, and transition. These hot topics are covered in depth to enlighten and inform readers.

The ‘Sango ya bomoko’ bulletin is the result of a collection of information in the field, as well as on social networks and other digital platforms, in twelve provinces of the DRC, including Kinshasa, Tshopo, Lualaba, Haut-Katanga, South-Kivu, North-Kivu, Equateur, Kasaï-Central, Kasaï-Oriental, Ituri, Tanganyika and Mai-Ndombe.
