Africa50, an investment platform created by several African governments and the African Development Bank (AfDB), is organizing the first forum for Africa and the General Meeting of Shareholders in Lomé on July 3 and 4, 2023. Under the high patronage of the President Faure Gnassingbé, the forum brings together experts from various sectors to share their expertise in investing in infrastructure that meets Africa’s development needs.
This forum aims to discuss around the theme “Bankable, Scalable, Replicable” in order to make projects at the heart of Africa50’s mission bankable. Among the guests of the event, we note the president of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina, the chief executive officer of Africa50, Alain Ebobissé, the Minister of Finance of Togo Hon Sani Yaya, Mrs. Tshepidi Moremong chief operating officer Africa50 and other personalities.
The Africa50 platform is created to bridge the infrastructure financing gap in Africa. It mobilizes public and private sector financing, facilitates project development and invests in infrastructure across the continent. Africa50 favors medium and large-scale projects with a strong impact on the development of Africa, while offering an attractive return to investors
