“Fédération Ensemble ville de Kikwit denounces a hidden agenda to exclude Moïse Katumbi from the 2023 presidential race in the DRC”

The federation of Together for the Republic city of Kikwit denounced a hidden agenda aimed at excluding Moïse Katumbi, its leader, from the presidential race of 2023. This declaration comes after the searches of the residences of Moïse Katumbi and his special adviser Salomon Idi Kalonda , where weapons were discovered.

In an interview with Actualité.CD, Federal President Jean Kitoko underlines the decline of the rule of law in the DRC. Together city of Kikwit demands the unconditional release of Salomon Idi Kalonda and calls for the vigilance of the population in the face of the dictatorial excesses of the power in place.

Jean Kitoko declares: “Everything that is happening today is a hidden agenda and the object is to remove President Moïse Katumbi from the presidential race of 2023. Yesterday it was the mercenary affairs of the houses and today it is the problem of the Tshiani law and now the carrying of arms. Never mind, we ask all Congolese to be vigilant”.

The political crisis in the DRC is therefore far from over. Opponents of Moïse Katumbi continue to use unorthodox means to eliminate their opponent from the presidential race. The latter, meanwhile, continues its seduction operations with the population of the west of the country. It should be noted that the security of the country is increasingly threatened, a consequence of this persistent political instability.
