Electoral competition in the DRC continues to heat up as the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) publishes the provisional list of candidates for the election of national deputies. Among the political groups in the running, the Dynamic Progressive Revolutionary (DYPRO) stands out by organizing a popular meeting to present its candidates to the population.
During the meeting held at the Assosa field in the town of Kasa-Vubu, the leader of the DYPRO, Constant Mutamba, presented the 406 candidates for national deputies aligned by the political grouping in all the constituencies of the city of Kinshasa. This massive representation bears witness to DYPRO’s commitment to renewing the Congolese political class.
During his speech, Constant Mutamba defended the idea of ”Rupture”, a political offer by the Republican opposition aimed at breaking with the practices of anti-values and the errors of the past. According to him, it is time to give way to youth to change the paradigm of the management of public affairs in the DRC.
The political grouping DYPRO, made up of political parties such as ANADEC, UNIR, DYREC, NOGEC, RFC and ADCO, positions itself as an alternative to the current corrupt political class. They aspire to renew the governance of the country through democratic elections.
In the coming days, DYPRO plans to reveal the name of its presidential candidate. This decision will be ratified during a conclave organized by the political grouping. Constant Mutamba does not exclude the possibility of carrying the candidacy of Congolese youth for the presidential election of December 2023.
