Political platform “Alternative for a new Congo”: a new alternative for the Congolese
In an often controversial Congolese political landscape, marked by power issues and financial scandals, the political platform “Alternative for a new Congo” is raising hope among citizens. Launched on Thursday, June 8, this platform aims to “bring together, federate and organize alternative citizen and political forces within a platform”, according to its coordinator, Patient Bashombe.
The ambition of this initiative is clear: to put an end to the predatory system of governance that led to the bankruptcy of the DRC. The objective is not only to change political personnel, but also to change the paradigm of governance. The distrust of the Congolese towards their management teams is now well anchored; the ruling party, the FCC, is seen as part of the old political landscape.
The members of the platform offer an alternative path, based on concrete and achievable solutions to solve the real problems faced by Congolese citizens. The platform thus wants to contribute to the responsible management of the institutions of the DRC and put an end to the bankruptcy of the country.
