“Triumph of the Francophone Games in Kinshasa: A quality sporting heritage and national pride”

The Francophone Games came to a triumphant conclusion in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. This major event brought together French-speaking athletes and artists from around the world, highlighting the talent and diversity of French-speaking culture.

The success of these games is the result of the hard work of the Congolese, from the head of state to the Congolese people. The creation of quality sports infrastructures was the key to this success.

Infrastructure Minister Alexis Gisaro played a central role in the process. He was fully involved in the planning and construction of the necessary infrastructure to host the Games in Kinshasa, thus giving concrete expression to the vision of the Head of State.

In close collaboration with various construction companies, such as New Sotem, Sodimas Sarl, Design Engineering Consulting 1, Janamapa Construct, the ABC consortium and ACGT, the Minister of Infrastructure has ensured the creation of modern facilities that comply with international standards. This fruitful collaboration has made it possible to set up functional infrastructures that are accessible to everyone, including people with reduced mobility.

Alexis Gisaro visited the site several times to check on the progress of the work and remind service providers of the importance of respecting delivery deadlines. His unfailing commitment made it possible to keep up the pressure and bring to fruition a project that seemed impossible.

The legacy of these sports infrastructures goes beyond the Games of La Francophonie. They contribute to the development of the country by strengthening the sports sector and offering opportunities for regular practice. Moreover, these infrastructures will remain a lasting testimony to the success of the event.

The involvement of Alexis Gisaro and his team in the construction of these infrastructures testifies to Congo’s desire to be an integral part of the international community and to promote the Francophonie through sport and culture.

The Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa were a real success, both organizationally and in terms of the quality of the infrastructure put in place. Thanks to the commitment and vision of the Minister of Infrastructure and his team, this event will be remembered as a highlight of the Francophonie.
