“ECC Prepares Election of New National President at Crucial Elective Synod”

The Church of Christ in Congo (ECC) recently began its preparatory work for the elective synod of the next national executive committee. This extraordinary session is of capital importance to define the orientations and elect the new national president of this religious structure.

In his opening speech, the national moderator of the ECC, Monsignor Gabriel Unda, underlined the importance of this meeting to prepare the national synod of the ECC. He insisted on the need to pave the way in order to ensure a smooth unfolding of this crucial event.

In this session, the vast majority of ECC officials from each province of the country were present, as well as important personalities such as the president of the Ministry of Lay Protestants (MILAPRO), Norbert Basengezi, the former national president of the ECC, Monsignor Marini Bodo, and of course, the current national president of the ECC, Monsignor André Bokundo-A-Bolika, as well as the spokesperson of the ECC, Eric Nsenga.

This preliminary meeting is an essential step in preparing for the elective synod of the ECC. The resolutions and decisions taken during this session will allow the members of the ECC to exchange constructively during the national synod. Indeed, as sons and daughters of God, united by the blood of Jesus Christ, it is essential that the leaders of the CCC fully assume their responsibilities and work together to guide the people of God.

The elective synod of the ECC will therefore be a key moment to elect the new national president of the Church. This decision is of paramount importance for the future of the ECC and the pursuit of its religious and social mission within Congolese society.

In conclusion, the extraordinary preparatory work of the elective synod of the ECC has begun with the objective of preparing the ground for a successful national synod.
