“The disturbing disappearance of Imam Paluku Sadala Yusuf in Halungupa: The local population is on alert”

The disappearance of Imam Paluku Sadala Yusufu in Halungupa, in the territory of Beni in North Kivu, continues to worry the local population. Imam Paluku Sadala Yusufu had left for rural activities in a place called Halungupa Kamugomba, but never returned. His relatives have launched research, but without success. The only trace found on the spot was his voter card.

Faced with this alarming situation, Congolese civil society in the Ruwenzori sector calls on the military authorities to take rapid measures to find the missing Muslim preacher. They ask for the intervention of the FARDC-UPDF operations command.

This disappearance raises questions about security issues in the Beni region of North Kivu. The authorities must put in place effective measures to ensure the safety of residents and prevent such situations.
