Re-examination of the conditions for taking the National Primary School Leaving Examination (ENAFEP) in the DRC
The Minister of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education, Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi, launched the ENAFEP certification tests in Kisangani, while the Deputy Minister of EPST, Aminata Namasia, visited several schools in Kinshasa to inquire about the award conditions.
The Deputy Minister went to EP Bolingani in Kintambo, where she was warmly welcomed by school authorities and students. She took the opportunity to encourage the students and wish them good luck for ENAFEP.
The Boligani center welcomed 1,516 learners, including 870 girls and 646 boys. At CS Joyeux Lutins in Bandalungwa, 515 students, including 257 girls and 258 boys, were in the running for the exam.
Through this trip, the Deputy Minister judiciously supervised the organization of the exam, and encouraged the students to continue their education with passion and determination.
A government official’s visit to a primary school has great symbolic meaning for students, as it demonstrates the importance placed on their education by the government and the importance of education.
In addition, this initiative reassures parents of students who are concerned about the process of organizing the exam. Indeed, by directly supervising the process, the authorities can quickly detect problems and remedy them.
In conclusion, it is to be hoped that this first round will go smoothly, taking into account the specificities of the candidates in order to allow everyone to have the possibility of continuing their education.
