The political situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo continues to be tense with the arrest of Salomon Idi Kalonda, private adviser to opponent Moïse Katumbi and son of Maniema province. Senator Augustin Matata Ponyo denounced this arrest and demanded his immediate release.
