Beginning of ENAFEP in the DRC: 11,362 candidates will work on the national primary school leaving exam

On June 1, 2023, it is with great joy that the Sous-Proved of EPST Kasumbalesa-Sakania, Tshisambu Tshindamba Bénoit, kicked off the start of the National End of Studies Examinations. Primary schools (ENAFEP) in the town of Kasumbalesa, province of Haut-Katanga. The Sous-Proved did not fail to emphasize the importance of the free national exam, which takes effect for the first time in the history of primary education in the DRC thanks to the commitment of President Félix Tshisekedi. [1]

The Chief Inspector of Primary Pool announced a total of 11,362 candidates, including 5,902 girls, distributed in 35 test centers for this edition of ENAFEP. However, only 51 educational provinces of the 58 in the country were able to start the tests due to the late arrival of the males of items at the drop-off points, according to the national minister of EPST Tony Mwaba. Isiro, Watsa, Boende, Bokungu and Buta will therefore have to wait until June 13 for the start of the exam.[2]

The Examination will take place over two days, from Thursday June 1 to Tuesday June 2, 2023, for the provinces that have started the tests. We extend our encouragement to the young students who face these exams, and wish good luck to all those who take them.
