Candidate for her own succession, Bestine Kazadi was reappointed for a three-year term as head of the AS VClub coordination committee. At the ordinary general meeting held in Kinshasa, Kazadi won a unanimous vote with 121 votes out of 121 voters.
This re-election marks the confidence placed in Bestine Kazadi and his team to continue the development and management of AS VClub. Vita general secretary Patrick Baneshayi and his deputy were also re-elected for the same number of terms, demonstrating the continuity and stability within the club.
In addition to these re-elections, other key AS VClub members were also reappointed to their respective positions. Jean de Dieu Kimpepe remains deputy general secretary, while Elumba Nkumu-E-Mbila retains his role as treasurer. Flory Mapamboli becomes vice-president of the football section, Gabriel Bukasa takes charge of the volleyball section, and Evelyne Lobota is elected vice-president in charge of women’s football.
The Kazadi committee is voted one month before the start of the CAF Champions League, where AS VClub will face Primeiro do Agosto de Luanda in the preliminary rounds. This re-election therefore comes at a crucial time for the club, which will seek to stand out in this international competition.
The renewal of Bestine Kazadi and her team demonstrates the recognition of their skills and their work within AS VClub. Club supporters and Congolese football enthusiasts look forward to seeing the achievements of this new term and hope that AS VClub will continue to shine on the national and continental scene
