The General Inspectorate of Finance on mission in Mbuji-Mayi to monitor the program of 145 territories
A major mission from the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) recently went to Mbuji-Mayi, in the eastern province, to take stock of the program of 145 territories set up by the President of the Republic Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi. This delegation, led by Victor Batubenga Pandamadi, Deputy Head of the IGF, was received by Attorney General Maurice Kama to discuss progress and any constraints encountered in the field.
The program of 145 territories is one of the priorities of the administration of Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi. It aims to promote economic and social development through the implementation of infrastructure projects and basic services in each territory of the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, difficulties were noted during its implementation, hence the importance of this meeting between the IGF and the judicial authorities in order to find solutions and speed up the process.
Victor Batubenga underlined the importance of this program for the Head of State and affirmed that the IGF was present on the ground to bring its expertise and help solve the problems encountered. He also shared his new guidelines to optimize the performance of finance inspectors on mission in the eastern province.
This IGF visit to Mbuji-Mayi demonstrates the Congolese government’s commitment to advancing the 145-territory agenda and addressing the challenges that arise. By working closely with the judicial authorities and taking into account the constraints on the ground, it is possible to overcome the obstacles and ensure the success of this ambitious program.
The General Inspectorate of Finance plays an essential role in the transparency and good management of public finances. By working in collaboration with the other institutions and by setting up control and monitoring mechanisms, it contributes to guaranteeing the effective use of public funds and to promoting the economic and social development of the country.
In conclusion, the visit of the General Inspectorate of Finance to Mbuji-Mayi to assess the program of 145 territories is an important step in achieving the objectives of the Congolese government. By working in collaboration with the judicial authorities and taking steps to overcome the constraints, it is possible to advance this essential program for the development of the country.
