The renovation of the national road N°5 between Bukavu and Kamaniola, in the province of South Kivu, is about to become a reality. Launched by the Minister of State for Infrastructure and Public Works, Alexis Gisaro, the work to complete this road was ordered by the President of the Republic, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, with the aim of improving the social and economic conditions of the population.
Before the launch of these works, the population of the region faced many difficulties in moving between Bukavu and Kamaniola. Sometimes they even had to go through neighboring countries, such as Rwanda, to reach the two cities. This situation was unacceptable and the Head of State therefore gave clear instructions to put an end to these problems.
Minister Alexis Gisaro stressed the importance of this project in achieving the vision of the President of the Republic. He said, “We are here today to materialize this vision which truly meets the aspirations of our people. The President has instructed us to start the work to complete the RN 5 road, and we have taken all the necessary steps to make this project a reality.”
This section of the national road N°5 is a key element for the improvement of the living conditions of the population. By facilitating travel between Bukavu and Kamaniola, it will promote the economic development of the region and access to various essential services such as health, education and trade.
The realization of this project is therefore an important step in the implementation of the vision of the President of the Republic, which aims to improve the living conditions of the Congolese population. Thanks to these works to complete National Road No. 5, the population of Bukavu and Kamaniola will finally be able to benefit from quality infrastructure, thus facilitating their daily lives and contributing to the development of the region.
In conclusion, the President of the Republic’s decision to launch work to complete National Road No. 5 between Bukavu and Kamaniola is excellent news for the people of South Kivu. This initiative demonstrates the Congolese government’s commitment to improving the infrastructure and living conditions of its citizens. We hope that this work will be carried out quickly and efficiently, for the greater benefit of the population
