The IX Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa: A major event to celebrate diversity and sporting excellence

The IX Games of La Francophonie are about to begin in Kinshasa and preparations are finally complete. In a recent interview granted to Radio Okapi, the director of the national committee of these games, Isidore Kwandja, affirmed that all the infrastructures were ready to welcome the delegations of fifteen countries.

According to Isidore Kwandja, entry to the Martyrs stadium for the opening ceremony will be free, but you will need to obtain a bracelet to access it. This will ensure security and access control during this major event.

The IX Games of La Francophonie will be held from July 28 to August 6 in Kinshasa, and the organization of the event is seen as very successful. This is a unique opportunity for the Congolese capital to shine in the spotlight and promote Francophone culture through sport, arts and music.

Catherine Kathungu Furaha, Minister of Culture and Arts and Heritage, Freddy Kadiata, Deputy National Director in charge of technological and computer issues of the National Games Committee, and Louis-Magloire Keumayou, journalist and president of the African Information Club, were invited to give their opinion on the organization of these games during a radio broadcast.
