Tension in Kananga: Tragic incident highlights mob justice problem
A strong tension erupted on the evening of Thursday July 20, 2023 in Kananga, capital of the province of Kasaï-Central. It all started when the population intercepted a woman suspected of having kidnapped a child in the commune of Katoka. But instead of letting the authorities take care of it, the crowd wanted to take the law into their own hands.
