The digital revolution continues to transform our society and our daily lives. In this dynamic, the public administration in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is modernizing and digitalizing in order to offer a faster and more transparent public service. An important step has just been taken with the launch of the public service web portal, called “Public Service na Tshombo”.
This digital application, initiated by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Civil Service, Jean Pierre Lihau, allows civil servants to access their general situation with ease. This initiative is part of the vision of the Congolese head of state, who wishes to digitize the country’s public administration.
The “Na Tshombo Public Service” portal has three major objectives. First of all, it aims to dematerialize administrative procedures in order to facilitate exchanges and formalities for civil servants. Second, it promotes transparency by allowing direct access to information for all citizens. Finally, it strengthens communication by offering civil servants the possibility of submitting their problems and monitoring the processing of their file in real time, without having to physically travel.
This innovation is a considerable step forward for the Congolese public administration. It allows for more efficient and transparent management of the State’s human resources. In addition, it facilitates exchanges between civil servants and managers, even remotely, which saves time and increases efficiency.
Jean Pierre Lihau, Minister of the Public Service, encouraged all State officials to use this secure portal and to take advantage of the advantages it offers. This is a significant step in the modernization of public administration in the DRC, thus meeting the expectations of citizens in terms of quality of service and access to information.
In conclusion, the digitization of public administration in the DRC with the launch of the “Public Service na Tshombo” portal represents a major step forward in the modernization of the State. This digital application allows civil servants to easily access their general situation, submit their problems and follow the processing of their file in real time. It thus contributes to a more efficient, transparent and rapid management of the Congolese public administration
