Recovery plan for the company TRIOMF RDC SA in the agricultural sector in the DRC.
The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Tshisekedi, recently mentioned the principle of state support for some important activities and projects in the agricultural sector. Among these initiatives is TRIOMF RDC SA, a semi-public fertilizer production company bringing together the Congolese State and foreign interests.
This declaration follows follow-up and evaluation work involving the Office of the President, that of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Portfolio, as well as the company TRIOMF RDC which presented a recovery plan aimed at strengthening the supply, the local production of fertilizers and strategic agricultural products, and to support farmers.
In order to secure national and foreign investments in accordance with the commitments made by the government to improve the business climate, President Tshisekedi asked the Minister of Portfolio to examine this recovery plan for TRIOMF RDC SA.
The implementation of this plan will require the collaboration of the Ministers of Budget, Finance, Agriculture and Industry, under the supervision of the Prime Minister.
This initiative aims to stimulate the development of the agricultural sector in the DRC, with an emphasis on food self-sufficiency, job creation and the reduction of dependence on agricultural imports.
The DRC has enormous agricultural potential, but it remains largely under-exploited. Support from the State and international partners is essential to develop production capacities and improve agricultural practices.
TRIOMF RDC SA’s recovery plan includes measures to strengthen agricultural research, promote the use of quality fertilizers, support smallholder farmers and encourage entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
By investing in agricultural development, the DRC can not only increase its food production, but also create jobs and economic opportunities for its people.
Food security is a priority for the Congolese government, which recognizes the importance of developing the agricultural sector to ensure the availability of quality food products at affordable prices for all citizens.
The TRIOMF RDC SA recovery plan is therefore a crucial step in achieving this objective. It offers a unique opportunity to mobilize the necessary resources, both nationally and internationally, to transform the Congolese agricultural sector and position it as an engine of economic growth and sustainable development.
In conclusion, the recovery plan of TRIOMF RDC SA in the agricultural sector in the DRC is a promising initiative that deserves the support of the government and international partners.. By investing in agricultural development, the DRC can strengthen its food security, stimulate its economic growth and improve the living conditions of its population. Now is the time to take action and realize this vision for a more sustainable and prosperous agricultural future in the DRC
