Public sector students subscribed to Trans Academia, the public transport company dedicated to students, express their dissatisfaction with the lack of punctuality and the complexity of the service. These students, especially those on the Mbudi-Ifasic, Mikondo-Ifasic, Matete-Isp and Pascal-Isp lines, feel that the service provided by Trans Academia leaves something to be desired.
According to several testimonies collected by CONGOPROFOND.NET, delays are frequent and lead to late arrivals to classes. An IFASIC student, who preferred to remain anonymous, said: “I am almost every day late for the Institute because of the lack of punctuality of the buses. I am often on time in district 1, but sometimes I have to wait an hour for the bus to arrive.”
Another student, living in the municipality of Matete, also complains about the quality of service, saying that he plans to unsubscribe if things do not improve.
Trans Academia, a public transport company created a few months ago in Kinshasa, has the mission of guaranteeing the movement of students from universities and public higher institutes. However, these students ask the company to increase the number of buses and improve the reliability of the service to avoid these inconveniences, especially since the number of subscribers continues to increase on all lines.
It is now essential for Trans Academia managers to take student complaints into account and put in place measures to improve the quality of service. By increasing the number of buses and optimizing timetable management, Trans Academia will be able to facilitate student travel, allowing them to arrive on time for their classes and to optimize their study and work time.
This is an important issue for students, who need a reliable and efficient transport service to pursue their studies in the best conditions. Hope that Trans Academia will hear their complaints and put in place the necessary actions to solve these problems of punctuality and quality of service
